Pride Fest Sponsorship Coordinator
Positions Available: 1–2
Event Date: April 17, 2027
Reports To: Pride Fest Event Director / Planning Committee
About the Role
We're looking for one or two outgoing, relationship-focused individuals to help make Pride Fest 2027 possible through sponsorships and community partnerships. Sponsorships help fund the event and allow us to continue growing Pride Fest year after year.
What this Position Entails
• Recruit Sponsors: Identify and reach out to businesses, organizations, and community partners.
• Build Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with sponsors and potential sponsors.
• Present Sponsorship Opportunities: Share sponsorship packages and explain available partnership levels.
• Secure Commitments: Finalize sponsorship agreements and commitments.
• Track Sponsorship Activity: Maintain organized records of sponsorship contacts, payments, and commitments.
• Coordinate Sponsor Benefits: Ensure sponsors receive all promised recognition and benefits.
• Collaborate with Other Committees: Work with Marketing, Vendors, Entertainment, and other teams to maximize sponsor visibility.
• Support Sponsor Appreciation Efforts: Help recognize and thank sponsors before, during, and after the event.
• Coordinate Volunteer Needs: Work closely with the Volunteer Coordinator to identify any volunteer support needed for sponsor engagement, sponsor check-in, sponsor hospitality, recognition activities, and event-day operations.
• Provide Progress Updates: Keep leadership informed about sponsorship progress.

• Comfortable building professional relationships.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Experience in fundraising, sales, marketing, or community outreach is helpful but not required.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Passion for supporting the LGBTQ+ community.
Time Commitment
• Leading Up to the Event: Sponsor outreach and relationship building throughout the planning process.
• Event Day (April 17, 2027): Attend the festival to support sponsors and ensure sponsor benefits are fulfilled.
• Volunteer Planning: Communicate volunteer support needs to the Volunteer Coordinator in advance of the event and assist with volunteer direction related to sponsorship activities.
• Attend all meetings – We work together to come up with dates that work for everyone.
