Pride Fest Entertainment Coordinator

Positions Available: 1–2

Event Date: April 17, 2027

Reports To: Pride Fest Event Director / Planning Committee


About the Role

We're looking for one or two organized, creative, and music-loving individuals to help create an unforgettable entertainment experience at Pride Fest 2027.


What this Position Entails

• Recruit Performers: Seek out entertainers, musicians, performers, and community groups.

• Build a Balanced Lineup: Create a schedule that appeals to a wide range of ages and interests.

• Serve as the Main Point of Contact: Communicate with performers throughout the planning process.

• Create the Stage Schedule: Develop and manage the entertainment schedule.

• Coordinate with Production Teams: Work closely with sound technicians, stage staff, and DJs.

• Collaborate with Marketing: Provide performer photos, bios, and promotional information.

• Coordinate with the Parade Team: Work with the Parade Coordinator to ensure entertainment and parade schedules work together.

• Coordinate Volunteer Needs: Work closely with the Volunteer Coordinator to identify staffing needs for the entertainment area. Communicate the number of volunteers required, their responsibilities, shift times, and any special skills needed. Ensure adequate volunteer coverage for stage assistance, performer support, backstage operations, setup, and breakdown.

• Manage Day-Of Entertainment Operations: Serve as the backstage coordinator and ensure performances stay on schedule.

• Support Sponsor Recognition: Work with the Sponsorship Team to write sponsor call-outs and ensure sponsors receive appropriate recognition.


What We're Looking For

• Strong organizational skills.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple moving parts.

• Event planning or entertainment experience is helpful.

• Team-oriented mindset.

• Passion for creating an inclusive festival experience.


Time Commitment

• Leading Up to the Event: Performer recruitment, scheduling, and coordination.

• Festival Setup: Assist with stage preparation.

• Event Day (April 17, 2027): Full availability required.

• Volunteer Planning: Provide volunteer staffing needs to the Volunteer Coordinator in advance of the event and assist with volunteer direction within the entertainment area during setup, event hours, and breakdown.

• Attend all meetings – We work together to come up with dates that work for everyone.
