The Sanctuary of the Treasure Coast creates unique opportunities for LGBTQ+ individuals to engage with and embrace each other. We achieve this through developing experiences based on the six pillars of LGBTQ+ community: Activities, Activism, Celebrations, Education, Entertainment, and Socials.
The Sanctuary Community Curtain (TSCC) brings people together through creativity, theatre, and a shared love of performing. Open to all experience levels, Community Curtain is a place to step into the spotlight, lend your talents behind the scenes, try something new, and most importantly, connect with others. From rehearsals to performances and everything in between, TSCC is about more than putting on a great show. It’s about building friendships, celebrating individuality, and creating a welcoming space where everyone can be themselves and be part of something special.

Most of our members use our private, group page on Facebook to communicate and keep up with what's happening on the Treasure Coast. Our group page also features a resource chat that connects LGBTQ+ Friendly businesses and active service providers in our community with our members.

The Goal
Our goal is to secure enough funding to build, maintain, and operate a permanent facility that will be a home for all LGBTQ+ people on the Treasure Coast.
Donations and fundraisers help The Sanctuary provide opportunities for connections, community resources, and support to LGBTQ+ individuals and families on the Treasure Coast. At the moment, we operate all communications and services through virtual programs, with the exception of our curated experiences being hosted physically at LGBTQIA donated office by RITELIFE services.
But... our community deserves more. We deserve the promise of Sanctuary; a safe space to call our own. Our ultimate goal is to secure the required funding necessary to build, operate, and maintain a permanent facility.
